My first introduction to Michael Gilbert's marvellous writing and wit was a "Calder and Behrens" story in a random issue of EQMM (when the magazine was available in British newsagents). This set me off on a hunt for other stories and novels by the author. The 2 collections of Calder and Behrens stories remain among my favourites and are unique, quirky and still very entertaining.Bill Carlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05528325646556108216noreply@blogger.com
